A: Your unborn child will not need an I-20. The I-20 form is required for students on F-1 visas and their dependents, but only after they are born.

Once your child is born, you can then apply for a dependent visa (F-2) for them. This process involves requesting a new I-20 from your school's international office, which will include your child as a dependent.

For now, focus on maintaining your current visa status and preparing the necessary documents for when your baby arrives. When the time comes, your school's international office can provide guidance on the next steps.

A: (If I am reading your question correctly, I am assuming you are already in the U.S. with your F-1 visa.) The answer is no. If your child is born in the U.S. he will be a U.S. Citizen by birth.
