A: It sounds like you’ve been dealing with a very difficult situation for a long time, and it's understandable that you want to seek justice for the child’s injuries. Since you've managed to locate the individual, the first step would be to consult with a lawyer who is experienced in international cases. They can help you understand the legal options available to you, such as whether you can file a lawsuit in the country where the man is now located or if there are possibilities to pursue the case in your own country.

The validity of his student visa and his deportation could potentially be significant factors in your case. A legal professional can help you gather the necessary evidence, such as medical records and details of the accident, and advise on whether the individual’s deportation status affects your ability to pursue a civil case or a personal injury claim.

Also, given the complexities of cross-border legal actions, there might be international treaties or agreements that could help in ensuring that justice is served. Being proactive and persistent will be key in navigating this complex process and finding a way forward for the injured child.
