A: It sounds like your son is in a challenging legal situation, and securing the right attorney is crucial for his defense. Given the complexity of his case, including the prosecutorial misconduct, alleged retaliation, and the serious charges he's facing, you need an attorney with experience in both criminal defense and civil rights cases. It's important to find someone who can thoroughly investigate the misconduct claims and aggressively challenge the fabricated charges.

Your son's extensive criminal history and the recent not guilty verdict in the intimidation case highlight the importance of a strong defense strategy, especially since he's now facing additional charges that seem to stem from retaliatory actions. The involvement of an informant with a questionable background adds another layer of complexity to the case, which the right attorney can use to your son's advantage.

You should look for a legal professional who is not only skilled in handling serious criminal charges but also familiar with the misconduct issues within the system. They should be prepared to defend your son against the new charges and potentially pursue a civil rights lawsuit if there is sufficient evidence of abuse and misconduct.
