Q: How do I start from the beginning when half way through a case. Been lies and had no legal help
I have a lawyer that is supposed be defending me which I was giving to by the judge!! My case I have is with CPS and from the first day of court I told my lawyer how the Caseworker lied in her statement about a removal of my kids. She wrote a whole different reason and not mentioned one thing that happen that day. My lawyer choose not to tell the judge about what I said and has allowed cps to keep my kids from me and has allow then to make more lies and make me look like im the bad guy. I don't understand why is not defending me at all and I shouldn't loose my kids for CPS lying from the first statement to the last statement that has been told on me. Im half way through my case to be closed n I know cps is trying to take my rights away. I did nothing wrong besides love my kids and took care of them. The removal was done I AS A MOTHER CHOOSE TO TAKE MY KIDS WITH ME TO THE STORE INSTEAD OF LEAVING HOME THEY CRY but SO HAPPENMY CASEWORKER SHOWEDUP AND SAWWEWeren't THERE.SoRemoval was done
A: At any time for any reason a client can terminate the services of their own attorney. If the attorney was appointed by the court, you are not entitled to a second court-appointed attorney, but are free to hire a different lawyer of your own choosing or to represent yourself.
