A: It sounds like a really difficult and upsetting situation. If they used your name, image, and made false statements about you without your permission, you may have legal options available. Defamation and invasion of privacy are potential legal claims you could explore, especially if the content damaged your reputation or caused harm. It's also concerning that you were not informed or asked for consent.

You might want to look into how the law treats your rights in this situation, particularly around defamation, the use of your image, and any false statements made about you. Each state has its own laws about this, so understanding what Florida law says could be important. In some cases, media outlets need permission to use someone’s name or likeness, but that can vary based on the type of content and its purpose.

You could also try to gather information about the show and documentary, including whether they were made by a network or an independent producer. From there, reaching out to legal counsel can help you understand your rights and what steps you can take to potentially seek justice or get the content changed or removed.
