Q: I have a life-changing case for myself and maybe an upcoming lawyer or a very generous experienced attorney. Help me !!!
I a single mother who is responsible for not only my kids but my ailing mother. I need help desperately. I'm in a life-changing situation that I have no control over and I need a very damn good criminal lawyer criminal defense lawyer who's willing to do some type of charitable pro bono or just patient with the finances work for someone who definitely deserves it and is depending on this. It's detrimental. Are there still any good guys out there? Can I get some help?
A: An Arkansas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a week. I'm sorry for your ordeal. You might be able to find low cost or pro bono criminal defense assistance. You could start by checking with legal aid organizations and the resources of local and state bar associations. You could also look into whether you qualify, based on financial need, for a court-appointed public defender. The format of this Q & A doesn't really lend itself out to attorneys reaching back out to you to offer their services. It could be better for you to take the initiative and start researching and making calls to pro bono attorneys, legal aid societies, or your county public defenders office. Good luck
A: Addendum - Your categories include "Car Accidents." If this involves your vehicle and something criminal, you will probably want to let your insurance carrier know about what is going on. Without knowing the details of your matter from the brief post, it's possible that your matter could involve legal defense of a civil nature as well, if someone is suing as a result of a car accident. If that's the case, you must let your insurance carrier know, so as not to jeopardize any civil-related defense for failure to place them on notice of a possible claim. Good luck
