A: It sounds like you’ve been through a lot with your health and the challenges you’ve faced in your SSI case. When your claim gets denied multiple times, it can feel discouraging, but there are still options available. It’s important to review the reasons for denial carefully. Sometimes it’s about missing medical evidence or not fully documenting your conditions, so having a clear record of all your treatments and injuries, including your hip replacements, fractures, and mental health, will be helpful.

You have the right to appeal the decision, and many people find success during this process. Since you’ve been denied last week, you can request a reconsideration or even a hearing before an administrative law judge. During this time, make sure you’re gathering all relevant medical documentation, especially any updated records that show how your conditions limit your ability to work.

If you haven't done so already, consider working with someone experienced in disability claims who can guide you through the appeal process. You have already faced a number of physical and mental challenges, and sometimes having someone advocate on your behalf can help move your case forward.
