A: A Texas attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a month. It's a little bit difficult to sort out exactly what is taking place here. Based on the brief writing, it looks like you have a med mal matter in which you are being presented with a release, but you have unresolved concerns about the settlement amount?? I'm not sure. Until you are able to discuss with someone who could clarify the exact facts (which could be necessary for meaningful guidance) - keep in mind that once the release is signed, that means the settlement is accepted. Good luck
