Q: what can I do if an Ex Girlfriend made multiple false statments on an application for a Domestic Violence CPO to obtain?
An ex girlfriend filed for a Domestic Violence Civil Protection Order against me for what i believe is retaliation for providing a statement to the The Counselor and Social Worker Marriage and Family Therapist Board in response to an investigation they are conducting against her. I have not even seen her since March of 2024 yet now all of a sudden she is claiming she is in fear for her safety. She made multiple false claims/statements/allegations against me in the petition for th order to get an ExParte order. My full hearing is on 10.22.24 and I can prove that many of the statements she alleged are both false and that she knew they were false when she made them. i feel like i'm being railroaded with this and I could really use some help. Thank you!
