Q: I need to know the law what is considered not taking reasonable action by a bail bondsman to find the person bailed out.
It's in honolulu hawaii, we have proof my boyfriend was working and so he didn't call or go to addresses given but claimed in court records he did a search and was currently searching. This was not true. If the person who bailed him out got called by the bondsman when he didn't show up for court, and must have him arrested or owe 11,000 and bondsman didn't do reasonable action to try, and the court forfeit3d the bsil after making the court come to the court I iconclusion my boyfriend was missing . Is it illegal to tell her and him later that they have to pay anyway the 11,000 when the person who bailed him out did exactly as was told and even sent b I neman a picture of him being arrested at work. He is so stressed feeling so bad for missing court and she has kids snd doesn't want her responsible so aside from his entire full time pay going to the bondsman who said this 11,000 must be paid off in less then a year or she is responsible. Is that legal if not what are the laws broken
