Edmond, OK asked in Family Law for Oklahoma

Q: Non custodial parent is bribing children with money and items to come to his home. Is there cases with rulings against?

The non custodial parent is using terms like I will give you money if you come back to my house on the weekend or buying expensive items while the child is grounded at the custodial parents home. Now the child wants to go and has stated “I want my stuff” from the non custodial parent and that is why they are going. I wanted to see if there was any cases that involved this situation and how a judges ruled on it. Should this be something to make an issue about. There have been a lot of undermining the custodial parent when it comes to discipline and consequences. One home there’s no discipline and the other has those expectations.
