Fort Worth, TX asked in Divorce, Family Law and Child Support for Texas

Q: Can a judge throw out an 2009 child support order b/c of a new 2024 order states the parties were married approx 2002?

Different case numbers but same parties. Had 1 child in 2009 and then had 4 more children later. I gave my attorney a copy of the 2009 order and brought up to him this 2002 date was wrong and I was afraid it would affect my 2009 case. The attorney general is asking the court to vacate this 2009 past child support due because of "new" evidence of a fictitious 2002 date. Judge found us common law married but never gave a date. What is even crazier is I couldn't even be married in the state of Texas in 2002, I was a minor. My attorney is not helping me and I belive I'm past the deadline to appeal. I feel I'm a victim of legal malpractice for more reasons than this. Im really not sure what to do. Can a judge actually vacate this when clearly the date on this other is wrong?
