Las Vegas, NV asked in Business Formation and Business Law for Nevada

Q: Do I need a Foreign Entity setup or Business License for a personal WY LLC living in Nevada?

I recently got a WY LLC and I live in Las Vegas, NV and the LLC is a holding company for my own investments and private equity in digital assets. I am not seeking any customers or clients, and will not be advertising, etc. Simply making my own peronal trades and using the LLC for asset protection and eventually looking into a Trust/Estate planning. My bank I went with is a large national bank and they did not require a Foreign LLC in NV. A local State Bank wanted BSA Approval and a Foreign LLC. I decided to go with the national bank since I felt it would be easier to deal with and I got approval in 2 days versus still waiting 3 weeks with the local state bank. Am I good with just filing my WY LLC requirements each year, or do I need anything from the State of NV. I live in Las Vegas (Enterprise). Thank you. I cannot see myself as doing business in this case. The national bank does not have branches in NV.
