Q: Type of lawyer needed if my ex husband along with some neighbors are harassing me, I feel unsafe inmy own house

My neighbor tried to break into my garage, and my husband is monitoring me. The neighbor threatened me, and when I called the cops, a female constable arrived. My neighbor told her that he did not threaten me, that he only told me to go inside my house and pray, and that I was mentally ill—a rumor my husband had spread among my neighbors. Instead of helping with the distress, the policewoman held me outside my house for almost an hour and a half until another officer, I assume with knowledge of psychology, arrived to perform a psychological assessment on me, even though I was the one who called them, and I was calm, composed, and not on any medication.. That said, I don’t feel safe calling the police again because I don’t trust them. This morning, I saw my neighbor dump food in front of my house, knowing my dog might eat it and be harmed. I’m really terrified and don’t know what to do.
