Canyon Country, CA asked in Landlord - Tenant for California

Q: Hi there, I need to hire an attorney that can assist me in suing my landlord, to get my sanity and quiet living back.

I have lived at this address for over 2 years here in Santa Clarita CA.

I have been dealing with a noise complaint since September 5th, 2024. It starts around 9-10pm and continues nonstop till 9am everyday.

I have had the property maintenance manager in my residence at 2am acknowledging the problem, I have emailed the property manager weekly for any updates or solutions to resolve this issue, all have been left unanswered.

I am disabled after an accident in 2016, and even if I wanted to move I simply can’t physically carry all my items out of the apartment to a new one.

On top that I can’t see it being fair or right, that I have to absorbed the enormous cost of hiring movers just so the landlord doesn’t have to stop the noise.

I have been informed that, my landlord is in breach of contract, in breach of the fair treatment, in breach of providing a quiet place to live.

I am suffering physically, and mentally from this exhausting experience, not being able to sleep proper.
