Seattle, WA asked in Probate for Washington

Q: My dad’s estate executor isn’t being transparent on assets & debts in the estate. I’m an heir so what info can I know?

I’m a legal heir in my dad’s will. The estate has been in probate for a year in WA State. The executor isn’t being transparent or providing when asked for information on the current assets & debts being paid out of the estate and what the debts are for. The executor has disclosed some of the large debts (taxes paid) but not provided the probate court with this information and the debts were from 4 over months ago. The sale of my dad’s home was completed 8 months ago and the realtor commission isn’t being disclosed to me or to the probate court. As a legal heir in my dad’s will what information on my dad’s estate’s assets & debts do I legally have the right to be told or given information on under WA State probate law? I’m most likely going to have to hire an attorney, but I’m unsure what my legal rights are to information. Thank you
