Q: If a temporary IWO for child support was Terminated by the judge due to non compliance of the primary
So basically the temp. IWO was terminated by the judge because the custodial parent failed to follow a court order. After almost 3 months then the judge reinstated the IWO at a court date he set the day he terminated it and set the same amount as before but this time permanent. Months later I was told by the child support Human Resources in Louisiana that I now owe back cs for those months the judge put a termination of the IWO. I was not in arrears either at the time it was done. The cs person told me I still had to pay even tho the judge terminated it due to my ex not following a court order. I live in Alabama so communication is ridiculous with them. After arguing the point, they still claim I owe it and it will be a debt taken out of taxes if not paid. Why would the judge issue to terminate IWO cs as punishment to the primary for not following the court order she didn’t do the task asked by the judge is what happened. Then, I get punished later and told I have to pay those months
