Q: Is there a law stating that a broken device for a disabled person be repaired in a certain amount of time?
Our stairlift broke, my husband and son both have muscular dystrophy. My son cannot manage the stairs without the lift. We have to wait 14 days for a repair man. And we've already paid $900 to have the repair made. It just seems to me that there must be a law to have it repaired in a more timely manner. Thank you
