Q: what is penalty if April 30 date is not met for winter waiver bc no certified contractors available?
I have a new rental property in Frederick, Md but am not able to get the exterior painting done before 2025 because of weather conditions. I have received a winter waiver but have been warned by my painter that it may not be possible to get a certified painter to perform exterior work needed by April 30, 2025 when the waiver period ends. What happens if I have a tenant on 4/30 but have not completed the exterior work? Is it possible to get an extension or is there a penalty or do I have to start the process from scratch?
