Q: I was named a recipient in a class action suit filed in Oklahoma in 2007 where Coca Cola- great plains were found guilty
Of sex descimination I was offered a check in the sum of $400 but did not accept. Case was settled in 2012. I believe there is a statue of limitations but this stays on my mind quite often. Is there a way to open a personal suit on my own since they were found guilty. The reason I ask is because the letter stated if I accepted the money I could not proceed with any other legal claims against them. It bothers me to know that I was qualified for a position and we're not given the opportunity because I am a woman. Please there has got to be something I can do I'm bothered by this quite often
