Q: My company charged me $7280 for spousal surcharge for 2023 and 2024 though my wife hasn't worked since 2020.
They are reimbursing me for 2024 but said not for 2023 since it's not that year anymore. After open enrollment both of those years they sent the spouse employment verification form which we sent back with tax return documentation proving she didnt have a job. They said we logged in and made the selection but we don't remember logging in that year but I do remember last year the question was worded very confusing.
