Las Vegas, NV asked in Civil Rights, Health Care Law, Legal Malpractice and Military Law for Nevada

Q: Sunrise Hospital held my son under false accusations without sufficient evidence and procedures were not done properly.

My Son has had Peanut Allergies all of his life. We are a Military Family, and yes we did have Military personnel show up to help us fight the hospital on releasing my son who was perfectly health, and never showed signs of Immediate attention, nor Deadly needs. He was treated at a ER clinic, then sent to be monitored @ Sunrise for 4-6 hours to make sure medication and nuts have warn off. After 4 hour the clear my son, saying "he good no hives and his throat looks a little irritated but nothing to worry about,". They put my son on a illegal administrative Hold under false pretenses and Allegations regarding my sons well being without sufficient evidence. When asked for documentation regarding their policies staff refused to provide information, CPS case was called and opened due to us wanting to sign a AMA (after being told that they dont have those forms) Our Son was healthy and didn't need 24hr monitoring because his symptoms had subsided. Staff falsely claimed critical condition.
