Q: If I have a broken screw in my neck within couple months after cervical spinal fusion is that a lawsuit case?
I had fusion 6 months ago and at couple months started hurting and been getting worse last 4 months now. They know about the screw and are telling me they want to see if it will heal. It's getting worse by the day. I'm just looking to get info on what to do from here.
A: I'm sorry for your painful ordeal. A Washington attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for a month. The short answer to your question is that it could be. However, additional details would be helpful for attorneys to analyze meaningfully, in terms of the root cause of the breakage (defective design, defective metallurgy or other manufacturing deficiency, poor selection, poor installation, other possible factors). The reliable way to answer your question could be to arrange a free initial consult with Washington attorneys. Good luck
