Q: Could I file an appeal against dss if I've filed one appeal and lost but never spoke to my appeal attorney?
I had a TPR hearing and my lawyer didn't do her job at all as she was on a high profile murder case as well. There was also what I considered a conflict of interest as part of the people involved in my case (those who called DSS) where also involved in the murder trial. And my lawyer didn't subpoena the one person who could have cleared me of any wrong doing despite my letting her know that they could have talked to DSS from day 1 to close this case and didn't (I was unaware they had to be subpoenaed to be allowed to talk to DSS until the TPR). If I can do anything about this is there a statue stating how long I have to do so? I'm just finding out that this could be a possibility at all
