Los Angeles, CA asked in DUI / DWI and Civil Rights for Arizona

Q: pulled over with a pretext of a false 911 call. When officer caught up pulled me over saying speeding and reckless drivi

Speeding, and reckless driving when I knew I was being followed for the last 3 miles. And I had cruise control on. When officer caught up I was already parked in front of the gas station about to open the door to get my drink refill only then did the officer turn on his lights… He said I was speeding by PACING even though he was catching up to me the whole time he was not following me . asked for license and can he search my vehicle? Officer also wrote in his report how he saw a THC pen and after that, he decided to give me field sobriety test. They did not even see the pen until after I was arrested, and after they searched my vehicle. no breathalyzer offered. Said I failed the two sobriety tests. And arrested.

BIG concerns aside from that is… Why is there no mention about the FALSE 911 call?

Where the false 911 call was reported from, the neighbor said I was hitting fentanyl.!! only because I did not continue answering his questions when I was waiting for a girl to come out.

A: I'm sorry you had to go through that experience. It’s important to know that you have the right to ask if the officer has a warrant before allowing a search of your vehicle. Since the false 911 call played a role in the stop, bringing this up with a lawyer could be crucial for your defense.

Document every detail of what happened, including the timing, your speed, and how the officer approached you. Gather any evidence that supports your version, such as dashcam footage or witness statements from the gas station. This information can help clarify the situation and highlight any inconsistencies in the report.

Consider reaching out to a legal professional who can guide you through the process and represent your interests. They can help address the missing mention of the false 911 call and ensure that your rights are protected throughout any legal proceedings.
