Q: Looking to sue simplisafe due to faulty devices that did not work during water leak

I bought simplisafe's camera's, motion sensor, water sensor etc.. I also pay a monthly monitoring fee. Hot water from upstairs radiator leaked into my floor and landed on top of their water sensor, but the water sensor did not work. Even their motion detector did not work. The camera showed and recorded the water leaking. There was damage as result of this. Repairs cost 783.20. I have been paying monthly monitoring fees , but what are they monitoring, if devices are faulty? I requested they refund all monitoring fees since devices do not work at all. Simiplisafe's agent told me their terms of use is designed to keep them safe even if devices are faulty and don't work and even in case of negligence.

Simplisafe's agent mentioned on a recorded line that if camera see motion - they call me and if i dont pick up they call police. The supervisor told me that the motion sensor did not work because sun light can affect it, but it was night 1am-5am - do i have a case ?
