Q: Can my ex-boyfriend (joint custody agreement) continue to contact my parents after I requested he does not?
I am living in the DSM area. I recently cut off my parents for mental health reasons and it has not been an entirely pretty situation. Their involvement has been pretty average in my daughter's life so it came with some adjustments and discussions (they rarely ever had her, but we always went for holidays and such. They were present but not enmeshed in our daily life). I communicated this around the time the decision was made to my daughter's father and he seemed reasonable. However, I learned today from my daughter after he dropped her off that her dad went over to my parent's house and dropped off a gift that my daughter made for them. I did call him and nip it in the bud with him, and communicated why this could be problematic for me. I had already denied receiving gifts and it's just a mess. Anyways, her dad and I have never really had a solid relationship and I'm concerned he will continue to do things like this. Is there anything legally I can do to protect my boundaries?
