Q: Traumatizing birth experience due to nurse neglecting me
I had a baby a few months ago. I was begging my nurse for an epidural and my medical team neglected to care for me and my needs. I was in excruciating pain and they kept giving me the run around to giving me an epidural. I was shaking and screaming in pain. The anesthesiologist team didn’t arrive until my baby was coming out of me. Not only has it caused emotional distress still to this day but it also robbed me of any joy once delivery occurred. I didn’t even want to hold my baby because I had completely disassociated. Am I able to sue?
