Broomfield, CO asked in Contracts and Landlord - Tenant for Colorado

Q: Is the wording of this agreement contradictory?

I'm posting a small snippet of the wording in this document. Its not the complete section but this is what I'm focused on. Copied and pasted from a pdf so forgive the misspellings. I can not sign this electronic lease for my complex without opting in and agreeing to the rent plus but to my understanding, the wording in this lease says its completely optional. Management shrugged their shoulders. I can provide full language of this lease upon request but I would like to know if I have to sign this portion based on the wording of the document.

Partial snippet - "Enrollment in RentPlus is entirely optional and is not a condition of this Rental Agreement. -

- After enrolling in RentPlus, Resident may cancel the RentPlus service at any time, for any or no reason, by logging in at my.rentplus.com/login and clicking on Account Settings"
