Q: I was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit head on by drunk driver and received the most injuries I need help?
On May 15th I was a passenger in my truck that was hit head on by a uninsured drunk driver, I sustained a fractured hip which needed surgery to replace and a metal plate inserted to hold it in since it broke the rim of my pelvis, I still have limited mobility 6 months later, I didn't know there was a box that you had to check for protection against uninsured drivers, he was charged criminally and that was a joke also, I need help I lost my mobility my job and no where to turn What can I do?

A: Unfortunately with this scenario, it appears that what you are saying, is that the intoxicated driver was not insured, and that you did not have underinsured coverage either. Given that there is not an insurance policy to open a claim with, there is not recovery available. You could potentially, file a civil claim, however I would recommend talking to an attorney who handles this type of dispute.
