Q: Can an auto shop refuse to give you your vehicle back once the repairs are done and you paid the bill in full in WA
Dave’s Valley Auto did extensive repairs on my vehicle (totaling $8,500) then stated once it was complete that he would only accept cash as payment. I just went in and paid the bill in full with cash and they still refuse to release my vehicle to me. What options do I have to get them to give it back to me? I finance it so I don’t even technically legally own it, the bank does. I am about to lose my job as I have been without it for 3 weeks now.
