Q: unknown to me, my partners in a real estate partnership falsely claimed I sold my interest to them for $1, sold building
Real Estate Partnership formed to own and manage our medical building. I moved to another state, but did not require immediate re-fi to buy me out…We have just completed a very favorable mortgage and fixed rate LOC package 6 months earlier. I never, ever thought they would behave in such a way as to deny my share after I paid for my part of everything for 7+ years. 1 month after I moved, they began the filings, notarized statements of changed ownership, assumption of corporate name, deed requests, all supposedly filed with Registry of Deeds, but certainly notarized and taken to banks and handled through their attorney….Shouldn't someone along the line asked to see the alleged signed release of ownership from me before lending money without my consent and selling the property???? Please help me with direction on this. Thank You, Michael
