Chicago, IL asked in Family Law, Domestic Violence and Sexual Harassment for Illinois

Q: What would this qualify as legally and can I do anything about it?

When I was about 7 until about 17 yo, my mom's sisters would grope me and my female cousin.  They would hug me and then pull my shirt out and look down it or pull it up and comment on whether I was wearing a bra or not. They would also feel my breasts over or under my shirt.  They would feel my stomach and butt and comment.  I would try to not hug them sometimes, try to cover my body, or pull away, but they just pulled my arms down and groped me anyway.  My parents, brother, and other relatives where there and watching. My dad used to hit us with belts, one time he pulled my underwear down to "pretend" to spank me. One time my dad dragged me out of the car and threw me on the ground. My mom slapped me and threw our dog's cage at me, scratching my leg. My brother would suffocate me, strangle me, threaten my life, touch my breasts sometimes, lock me away for hours, unlock my doors while I was changing/showering/on the toilet. He also showed me a porn video and gore videos.
