Highlands, TX asked in Juvenile Law for Texas

Q: If my 17yr old daughter keeps running away to be with a boy, can I have her arrested? texas

Cops found her and brought back to me few months ago and now shes run away again.she will be 18 in 3months. What are my rights as a parent to have her sent to juvenile? I have two elementary school children that need me and should not be seeing this.

A: Probably not, but you may be able to have the boy arrested for Harboring a Runaway if he is giving her shelter, transportation or a home knowing she is doing this without your consent.
