Q: Is it justifiable to assault someone after seeing your stolen phone in his hand? Any case law?
A party whose property was stolen and some days later saw the phone with another person and assaulted the person and collected the phone on the basis that if he should call the police, the person person would have escaped. Is it justifiable? Support it with any case laws. I was arguing with someone that it isn’t justifiable to assault someone for such a reason.
