Q: Did I face retaliation for a workman's compensation claim?
I was injured on the job and filed a workman's compensation claim. While that was ongoing I received a disciplinary action based on my performance. My performance under some KPI's was lower than ideal but, was on par with everyone else. My performance was better than many of my colleagues for some KPIs and in many areas far above my colleagues, however, I was the only one to receive any disciplinary action. They gave me a 30-day improvement plan as well as relocated my office.
