Q: Will there be any problem if I go back to my country without paying?


I work in united states, I lost my job 6 months ago.I have decided to go back to my country I am not affordable to pay credit cards. So will there be any problem if I leave without clearing them? How can I solve this? Do I have to file bankruptcy?

Not paying your debt will not follow you back to your home country when you leave the US. However, when you do not pay a debt, your creditors will most likely bring a legal action against you in court and once they have a judgment against you the judgment will be valid for the next 20 years.
