Q: I live in TN, I was hurt in 8/2006. Is there a time frame before I can get the money set aside for medical bills?

The lawsuit was settle 9/28/20008. I was paid my portion. The attorney got her portion, and the amount for the medical bills is in a bank account held by the attorney.

Q: I had an accident back in Nov 2012, where both myself and the other person didn't have insurance.

I am wondering what is TN laws on accidents where both parties have no insurance, the other parties filed in July 2014 for judgement against me for injuries. You need to contact an attorney in Shelby County to represent you. Otherwise, you have the difficult task of having to defend yourself in court against someone who does have an attorney.
