Q: Am i still liable for child support if the child was a result of my husband having an affair with another woman
A: Are you saying you have no biological relationship to the child? If so, have you been raising the child as part of your family? If that's the case, a court might still order you to pay support. If you never acted in any parental capacity towards the child, and the child is not yours by biology, then probably not.
Your husband should be responsible for the child support, but that means that his income will be decreased as a consequence of having to pay. You don't have to pay it, but it will come out of the community income.
In my book, A MAN'S GUIDE TO CHILD CUSTODY I discuss the issue of child support and how it is calculated in general. The book is available on the websites Amazon, Barnes and Noble and as an ebook on my website, www.MENSFAMILYLAW.COM.
A: You are not legally responsible for paying child support for the child that your husband fathered with another woman unless you adopted the child.
