A: Once the Juvenile court has taken jurisdiction over a child it has jurisdiction until it releases to the Family Court with an exit order. That means that the State of California has exercised jurisdiction over the child which would qualify for the time limits of the UCCJEA.

If you are having UCCJEA issues or interstate child custody and visitation problems you should go to my website at www.InterstateChildCustodyLawyer.com to review the law and contact information.

If you are having an international child custody child custody and visitation problem you should go to my website at www.InternationalChildCustody.com for more information on the UCCJEA and the Hague Convention on Child Abduction.
