A: Probably not. You didn't say if she also lives in Texas but in Texas there is a crime of Harboring a Runaway. If you give shelter, transportation or a home to a child under than 18 and it is down without the parent's consent, you could be charged with a Class A misdemeanor. Her best bet would be to report her family to CPS and try to get her removed from her family. Then you could volunteer to give her a home.
