Q: Landlord's girlfriend is threatening to break my lease and evict me because she feels like it Can she?
I rent a house, was suppose to have the entire house, but landlord made illegal apartment, for himself when him and the girlfriend fight, in basement which I pay electric and heat for. Girlfriend texts me so much I have blocked her number because she is demeaning, harassing and threatening. She isn't on the lease and she doesn't own the house but now he's made her "property manager" What rights do I have?
