Q: Got DWI in NC with NC driver license. Still have FL license active what happens if I move to florida and drive?
DWI in NC gives me an automatic 1-yr license suspension, but I got the DWI while using my NC license. I found out that my FL drivers license is still active (was not taken away when I got the NC license), and I'm planning to move back to Florida. Will the NC DWI be on my FL record? What happens if I get pulled over driving in FL with my FL driver's license? This is an odd case, since I've never heard anyone having two state's valid driver's licenses...
A: A suspension in one state will operate as a suspension in another state. Do not drive while your license is suspended.
A: If you have a suspended license in NC you also have a suspended license in FL.
