I was just accused of watching pornography at work by a supervisor. He brought the accusation to the head of the company, as well as accusing me of other things. The ceo and HR called me in and searched my computer finding nothing and are refusing to show supposed proof even though there is none. Their search came up with nothing because I did not do those things and theu are not taking action against the false accusations. This is causing a hostile environment for me. Do I have a libel or slander case as I am now being viewed poorly at work? I live in Tennessee and I read up on the laws but want to know if I have a case to take to a lawyer I am feeling threatened for my job.
