Long Beach, CA asked in Divorce for California

Q: Getting divorced and have a quick question.

Getting divorced and my husband took the car, I was wondering shouldn't he be responsible to drop her off at my home so I can see her? I have no way to see my daughter and he refuses to let me see her unless I pick her up from him.

A: Without an order from the court stating who has to drop the daughter off, you'll probably have a hard time getting your husband to obey. The fact you only have one car (it sounds like you only have one) will probably make the judge more inclined to order him to shuttle your daughter back and forth to see you. Judges like it when the parents have equal access to the child or children.
