Q: I made an offer on a house in Gilbert and the Seller accepted. During the inspection period, property line....
irregularities were discovered. I cancelled the offer. The seller's agent texted my agent stating they want to work through the irregularities. I submitted the inspection report and listed corrections to be made. The seller relisted the property as available but did not instruct the title company to release my escrow deposit to me. I feel the seller is holding on to my inspection report (still in the 5 day response period) while advertising the property in hopes of finding a less detailed buyer. When instructed to list the property as pending, the seller declines and notes he is considering another offer. Are we still under contract and does the seller have to list the property as pending?
