Q: We filed my I-751 on time, they say it was filed late.
We filed my I-751 (removal of conditions) on 04/20/2015 along with a fee waiver. My card expired 04/25/2015. We recieved a letter yesterday I-797E and on there are some things we can reconcile (asking for evidence of good faith marriage and they didn't like that the original form had a copied signature). Now, they also say we filed the form late. We refiled the form as soon as we could after they resent it to us. It took them a while to resend it and we refiled on 06/03/2015. We are worried that the rejection of the fee waiver isn't going to be a good enough reason. We sent the fee waiver rejection along with a note to say why it was late when we refiled ... are we in trouble here?
