Q: I rented a property to a company
I rented a property to a company, after two years they have sent me a long list of compliance clauses, stating it is for their business partners. now the legal definition of business partners is totally different to my relationship with them. I am just a rentor or owner or lessor. They are superimposing me to be part of their health and safety compliances where as it is their job to maintain those in the rented land or building can they superimpose their compliance incumbencies on me after two years of , renting. where as I have nothing to do with their business I have just rented my place to them
A: This question is confusing, but since this sounds like a commercial lease, I would suggest spending some of the rent money on retaining a local commercial lease attorney to deal with the issue.
