Q: while in traffic an object flew off a semi truck and damaged my car, I didn't get any info on the driver, what can I do
a kenworth semi trucks mud flap flew off the undercarriage and into my lane I had to drive over it due to traffic in other lanes. it punctured my transmission. my deductible is $1000 and geico told me there is no way they can manipulate the deductible cost even with the situation. what can I do ?

A: You can bring an uninsured motorist claim against GEICO claiming that the accident was caused by the fault of a driver that was uninsured. Of course, the driver is not really uninsured but is viewed as uninsured under Maryland law if the driver cannot be identified after reasonable investigation.
