Q: I need a Lawyer concerning Florida Statue 687 Usury Contract misrepresented against my personal injury case that settled
Hello, I would like to know can my Lawyer be responsible for allowing me to borrow 80,000 dollars in just over a years time(prsonal Injury case) I had to pay back a very high interest rate of 186,000 dollars. According to the State of Florida it is against the Law and A violation against the Florida Statue Chapter 687 Usury Contracts, can I persue this in a Legal waythis was a loan provided by American Legal Funding with a very high interest rate which is against the law in the state of Florida. shouldn't my Lawyer who was representing me have not let this contract take place? I had injuries such as mild traumatic injury,tmj and neck infusion from this accident, I was under a lot of distress and he was suppose to have my best interest considering he was representing me at the itme
